I write books… romance and women’s fiction books to be exact.

Why, yes! There is! Thanks for asking! There are some things you may or may not be interested to know about me, but I will tell you anyways because awkwardly oversharing is kinda my thing.
Random & Not-So-Random Facts
I married my high school sweetheart (Derrick) at the ripe age of 20. He played in the NFL. I was a stay at home mom. His career was only slightly less demanding than mine. We now have four kids who run my life.
I started writing when we were living in Green Bay. Derrick was playing football. I had a one-year-old, a newborn, and no friends. Instead of talking to myself around the house all day, I decided to talk to myself on a blog and pretend other people were reading.
The idea of writing books didn’t come until 50 Shades lured me into the romance genre and Kristen Ashley held me hostage. I started writing Intercepted in 2012 and didn't finish until 2016. Then I completely rewrote it in a month during Pitch Wars.
I met Alyssa Cole and Sylvia Day in the span of 5 minutes. I almost blacked out. All I remember is their flawless beauty and my incessant giggling.
I love the idea of getting all fancy, going out to some swanky bar, and having a great time with my friends. But I also love the idea of staying home, not wearing pants, and talking to my internet friends. Guess which one I do more of? Hint- I once* went a month without washing my hair and my wardrobe has approximately 20 pairs of leggings.
My phone autocorrects rose to Rosé.
When decided to try writing a book, I said I would never write a sports romance because there was nothing glamorous about it. Never say never, people.
There’s a 99.9% chance every book I write will have mentions of The Real Housewives, sparkle, booze, and a main character who is a bit of a hot mess—write what you know and all that jazz.
My kids are unimpressed with everything I do. This is best demonstrated here:
Even though I talk to my kids all day long, I’m convinced I only say the same ten phrases. The main ones being “put on your shoes” and “why is everyone yelling?”
There’s not much that I love more than a girl group. When I was a kid, I memorized every single TLC song and made my mom buy me the silk pajamas. Now I’m obsessed with Little Mix. Full Stan... a Mixer, So much so that I convinced my friends to come talk to me on Instagram about their favorite pop culture obsessions. You can go watch Stan Talks here!
